In this session, leaders will engage in consultancy protocols and practice to improve their effectiveness in coaching new teachers. Based on the Playbook for Early Career Teacher Success, this session will support participants to craft a SMART goal focused on student evidence, create a coaching plan including accountability measures, and role-play the coaching conversation. Participants should come to the session with an action step for a specific teacher in mind to make the most of the time. This session is designed for leaders who are already using the playbook and/or have taken introductory playbook sessions.
