Leadership Week is designed to provide access to just-in-time, relevant knowledge and tools that are aligned with leaders’ school goals. There are sessions intentionally designed for all leader roles from Aspiring Teacher Leader to Experienced Principal, including sessions that are required for those new-to role, aligned to year 2+ leader learning aligned to LEAD competencies, and aligned to Instructional Improvement Priorities.
Use the options in the right-hand column to filter by your role to find the sessions that are designed just for you.
Consider the location when selecting sessions. Sessions will be located at Thomas Jefferson HS, Lowry Conference Center, The Summit Church and Manual HS.
Fall Leadership Week registration closes EOD 9/28/18.
Note that lunch is not provided during Fall Leadership Week One hour is set aside each day for lunch and you can either bring your own lunch or purchase lunch nearby. In this session, leaders will engage in consultancy protocols and practice to improve their effectiveness in coaching new teachers. Based on the Playbook for Early Career Teacher Success, this session will support participants to craft a SMART goal focused on student evidence, create a coaching plan including accountability measures, and role-play the coaching conversation. Participants should come to the session with an action step for a specific teacher in mind to make the most of the time. This session is designed for leaders who are already using the playbook and/or have taken introductory playbook sessions.
